Immersive VR Deep Sea Experience

We are excited to be the recipient of a mini-grant from Families Leading Change for the first phase of development of an Immersive Virtual Reality Deep Sea Experience.  We will be partnering with a team of students from the Tri-State STEM+M Early College High School to develop an inclusive deep sea experience that students with disabilities can also enjoy.

Our students on this project will be working with the STEM School's students to help identify aspects of the deep ocean environment that could be included within the deep sea experience.  They will also be part of the BETA testing program of the project and will give feedback to the technology team on aspects of the design that are positive and negative.  We are very excited to begin this collaboration with the Tri-State STEM School and Dr. Insu Hong at West Virginia University, Department of Geography and Geology.
