We will have a sensory table at the Autism Awareness Family Fun Night on April 6th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
From the Mountaineer Autism Project website:
Every April, communities across the globe work together to bring awareness and support for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Thousands of events and initiatives are held throughout the month to acknowledge Autism as a growing global health priority.
To celebrate World Autism Month here in West Virginia, the Mountaineer Autism Project is pleased to hold Autism Awareness Family Fun Night this year at the Clay Center in Charleston.
The event is free and open to families and friends who want to celebrate, empower and support those of us with ASD. There will be games and activities galore! Keep watching our Facebook event page for activities and descriptions of participating exhibitors.
Those who register will also have access to the museum for a reduced charge of $6. This includes the traveling exhibit, Grossology. To learn more, visit http://www.theclaycenter.org/.
